Third-year students of the Management Department of the Faculty of Economics, University of Tuzla, visited the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Sci. Meldina Kokorović Jukan, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sci. Adis Delić, Full Professor at the company "Babilon" as part of the Human Resources Management course.
Representatives of "Babilon" presented to the students the development path of this respectable Bosnian and Herzegovinian company, from its founding in 1996, as a small family business, to today, when the company has around 200 employees and consists of 5 sectors (B repromateriali: import and distribution of repromateriali, cutting and edging of chipboard to the customer's desired dimensions; B design: design, planning and production of custom-made panel furniture; B centar: retail furniture showroom; Imagine sofa: production and sale of upholstered furniture and Velmob: furniture wholesale).
Students were specifically presented with the specifics of the recruitment, selection and hiring process, or the employment process, as well as managerial mechanisms for creating a stimulating work environment, motivating employees, as well as managerial practices and policies that ensure employees' dedication to their work and their high level of identification with the vision and mission of the company Babilon.
